Senior Master Eric Loveless is the owner and director of Bushi Ban South Houston. Sensei Eric Loveless is a 4th degree black belt in the Bushi Ban. Sensei Loveless has been training in the martial arts for over thirty years and has studied many disciplines among them Shorin Aiki Bukan, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Arnese, and Bushi Ban. The extensive training and broad knowledge in the matrial arts disciplines has earned Eric Loveless a spot in the martial arts hall of fame. Eric Loveless specializes in combative sports and self defense. Among these are MMA, full contact kickboxing, grappling, and real life self defense scenarios including empty hand and weapon defense. Sensei Loveless holds many titles at a national level and is a four time world champion in disciplines including full contact kickboxing, mma, and full contact bare-knuckle karate. Being involved in the martial arts since the age of six, Eric Loveless has competed and won in all kinds of martial arts tournaments including winning the inaugural season for Chuck Norris’ WCL with the Houston Enforcerers, Extreme Kickboxing World Championships, The Dungal, Xtreme Combat Submission Championship, the Sabaki Challenge, and the very prestigious Yoshukai Karate Championships. Now Sensei Eric Loveless’ interests lie more in the interests of his students. Having trained from amateur mma fighters all the way to champions at national and world level competition in mma, karate, and jiu jitsu.

Senior Instructor Creed Potter is a 3rd degree Black Belt in Bushi Ban. He has been training under Grand Master Zulfi Ahmed since 1995. He has been a black belt since 2002. An instructor for Bushi Ban for the last eight years and is the senior instructor at the Fuqua location. For Sensei Potter it is a family affair. The father of seven children, three black belts one red belt, one purple belt and one yellow belt. Sensei Potter is the instructor of the adult karate class and specializes in self defense. Sensei Potter also assists in the training of the Fighters Elite and has competed in numerous karate and submission grappling tournaments.

Head Instructor Oscar Rodriguez has been training in the martial arts for sixteen years, eleven of those years at Bushi Ban. He is a second degree black belt in Bushi Ban and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Head Instructor Oscar holds many titles. Instructor Oscar was the 2005 seventeen and under amatuer in Bando Kickboxing. At age seventeen, Oscar competed in the men's divsion, 155 pound national champion Bando kickboxer. 2007 Bushi Ban grappling champion for no gi division. 3rd place in 2008 King of Gym grappling tournament. He has competed and placed in multiple grappling tournaments. Amatuer cage fighter. Has been teaching for seven years. Specializes in teaching children and weapons. Coach for fighter's elite. Masayuki Ward, Dr. Muang Gyi, Mike "Quick" Swick, Rich Clementi, Ricardo Liborio, Leonardo Xavier, "Termite" Watkins, olympic boxing coach.

Leona Martinez teaches Power Kickboxing and has been with Bushi Ban for about eight years. She is also a personal trainer.

Instructor Jasmine Rodriguez is a Second degree black belt and has trained with Bushi Ban for the past ten years. She teaches the kids classes and specializes in katas and grappling. Jasmine won 2007 women's grappling division Bushi Ban Nationals.

Gilbert Martinez is a black belt in the Bushi Ban system. He specializes in grappling, and he teaches Fighter's Elite. Gilbert is the 2004 Dungal World Champion and professional MMA fighter.
